1. Re: Switchyard plugin for Eclipse not working

It does not look like you are using the latest version of the SwitchYard tools. Please update to the latest nightly 0.8.0 of the tools.
You need to add a service to your component, then promote (i.e. link) the component service to the composite service.
There is a quick start that gives a good overview of the tools and SwitchYard. It takes about five minutes to run through and can be found here: https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/SWITCHYARD/Quick+Start
Hope that helps.

developer251 Mar 11, 2013 12:40 PM (in response to rcernich)Thanks for your reply Rob. I'll check it and see if it works. A last thing: is the latest 0.8.0 build intended to work against the Eclipse Juno or Eclipse Indigo ?
Thanks

rcernich Mar 11, 2013 12:49 PM (in response to developer251)Hey Max,
The tools are based on Juno starting at 0.7. That said, you can make the tools work with Indigo, but it requires a bit of work and you'll be on your own. That said, the documentation provides a list of the basic steps. https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/SWITCHYARD/Installing+Eclipse+Tooling
Hope that helps.
