1. Re: How do we Insert Values into Database using BPEL Designer?
kcbabo May 17, 2013 8:43 AM (in response to gurpreet)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThis is possible using a file binding combined with a SQL or JPA binding in your application. If you want to map a receive/pick to one of these gateways, that would be a service binding. If you want to map an invoke to one of the gateways, then that would be a reference binding. There are quite a few quickstarts avaialble in SY which demonstrate various bits of functionality. Nothing which exactly matches your use case, but there's enough there to put you on the right path.
All quickstarts:

BPEL quickstarts:
https://github.com/jboss-switchyard/quickstarts/tree/master/bpel-service
BPEL using JMS quickstart:
https://github.com/jboss-switchyard/quickstarts/tree/master/bpel-service/jms_binding
The BPEL JMS quickstart will give you an idea of how other bindings can be mapped into an application which uses BPEL to orchestrate services. From there, I would suggest checking out quickstarts which use the file and JPA/SQL bindings and look to map those into the application. The documentation should provide some help as well:
