HornetQ has a JMS bridge which is compatible with any JMS provider which follows the JNDI conventions outlined in the JMS 1.1 spec. See more info at http://docs.jboss.org/hornetq/2.3.0.Final/docs/user-manual/html/jms-bridge.html.
I'm not entirely clear on your use-case. You seem to indicate that you cannot use JNDI with SonicMQ. If that's the case, then you won't be able to use our JMS bridge. I'm not sure what you'd be able to do in that situation.
you can implement your own ConnectionFactoryFactory and return the Sonic factory as long as you can get a handle on it
