i have just read a little bit in the forum, because of an problem which occurs in my app between 2 cmp's.

a have created them with remote interfaces and i have tryed to set a relation between two created entities from a external client, which is not running inside of jboss.

this does not work and a ClassCastException was throwing ... now i read a few postings and it seems so, that it is not possible to set a relation using remote interfaces ... ist this right?????

i'm a little bit confused about this ... when i will set a relation have i to use an session-bean or something like this?

if it is not so, can someone tell me, why the ClassCastException occurs?
