As this xml file refer class com.fusesource.training.jar.PlainAndSimple, so you need install a bundle which export package com.fusesource.training.jar first.
Thanks, Freeman. That is exactly what was wrong. Normally this lab is run after another lab,
which does install a jar file with the appropriate package in it. In my testing, I didn't observe the
sequence and have been trying to fix it ever since. So once I did an install using the wrap:
prefix on the simple POJO jar, and then tried to drop the Spring context file into deploy,
it all works as expected. !!!!
One a side note - should it be possible to drop an arbitrary jar file into deploy folder
or can you only drop actual bundles and/or Spring/Blueprint context XML files?
Thanks again - really helps me out a lot.
You can drop an arbitrary jar file into deploy folder, in this case the wrap deployer will kick in so it just like you simply use wrap: to install the bundle.
