Is there anyway to calculate metric count ? ? ?

Hi Developers,

As per my usecase, I would like calculate the metric count at the start() method. Is there any possibility to call the Metrics at the start() method ? As per my knowledge in RHQ, Measurement Oriented classes are in servers. So for me it is difficult to access those class by the agent plugin. But I believe there is a way to trigger the class. Please help me to do that.

Arun,

In the start method of your component, you can call the getValues method. But this will only give metrics values, not send a measurement report to the server.

Is that all you need?
