Can i define a notification with process variable to "To Users" and "To Groups" field

Hi ,

One question about notification of jbpm , as Chapter 13. Human Tasks said , we can define a notification which contains "To Users" and "To Groups" , so what i want to ask is can we fill process variable here (e.g.: fill #{initiator} to "To Users") . Because most of the owners of my task node are dynamicily set (we set some people in first task , and some of them will be the owner of the next node etc ).

yes, you can use process variables for users and groups on notification and reassignments, same as you do when you assign the task to given user. In fact that's why both accept user id instead of email (especially in case of notifications).

Hi Maciej ,

Thanks for your reply and it works now , i have another question: does the process variables like 'initiator' must be defined ? I know the business variable must be defined .
