Hey all,
Couple of people in this forum as well as some others (Resin, Caucho, etc) that would like to use java.util.Calendar in their projects and have it automatically map to the right JDBC type using CMP.

Is there any plans to support java.util.Calendar with CMP in the near future?

I believe the EJB2.1 specs point to this, and for those that develop with jboss.net the need for java.util.Calendar for interoperability would like CMP to automatically handle this object<->sql mapping instead of making all the casting to java.sql.Date.
