I did not see same behavior with the latest Designer. Which version are you using? can you move to the latest and see if the issue exists?

I am using EDS 5.3.1 GA, SOA 5.3.1,teiid designer 7.8,Eclipse indigo 3.7.2 and teiid run time 7.7.5(which comes with the EDS package). Will my environment be compatible with the latest teiid designer?
If so, can you suggest me the teiid designer that I can potentially use to reproduce this scenario?
If you are customer you should contact Redhat support and see if they can reproduce on the versions you mentioned and possibly get you a patch. Otherwise, if you use latest 8.2 Teiid Designer from community it should work too, as that is one I tested with.
