Default values in db2 with JBoss not set

Hi folks!

I've got a db2 in which a table contains a few fields with the "with default" option. The problem is, that jboss seems to insert a null value. Any ideas how to solve this problem.

Is the "with default" option supposed to insert a default value in case I try to insert null into that column? Are the columns FKs for CMR relationship?

Hi!

I can put "null" in these fields. Db2 only uses the default value if I don't mention this field in an insert statement. They aren't FKs for CMR relationship.
