    JBOSS AS 7.1.1 Connection leakage

    sagar dhumal Newbie

      Hi all,

we planned to use JBOSS in production but caught up in very bad situation due to JBOSS connection leakage problem. Please help me on below issue.I am using jboss-as-7.1.1.Final.Below are my system details.

      OS - Windows 7 64 bit

      java version - JDK 1.6,

      database - Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (SP1)

The problem is that my web application run out of connections even for single user is using it and stack trace shows

      09:00:47,705 ERROR [stderr] (Timer-3) Caused by: javax.resource.ResourceException: IJ000453: Unable to get managed connection for java:jboss/datasources/MailTrackerDS 09:00:47,705 ERROR [stderr] (Timer-3) at org.jboss.jca.core.connectionmanager.AbstractConnectionManager.getManagedConnection(AbstractConnectionManager.java:390) 09:00:47,705 ERROR [stderr] (Timer-3) at org.jboss.jca.core.connectionmanager.AbstractConnectionManager.getManagedConnection(AbstractConnectionManager.java:302) 09:00:47,705 ERROR [stderr] (Timer-3) at org.jboss.jca.core.connectionmanager.AbstractConnectionManager.allocateConnection(AbstractConnectionManager.java:464) 09:00:47,705 ERROR [stderr] (Timer-3) at org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.WrapperDataSource.getConnection(WrapperDataSource.java:129)

First time i thought their might be connection leak in code so i tried with various tools such as findbug,connectionleakDetector(http://sourceforge.net/projects/connleakfinder/files/HowTo.html/download?use_mirror=hivelocity) but their is no connection leakage in my code since i have closed all connection properly and looks JBOSS is having bugs related to connection leakage.I have attached data source configuration from standalone.xml
