Persisting custom pojo classes using jbpm default persistence mechanism of JPA & JTA

Is it possible to persist custom pojo objects in jbpm 6 using the default persistence mechanism JPA & JTA? want to be able to persist the custom pojo from the script task in bpmn diagram.

We have modified the persistence.xml to include our pojo classes, the table structure got created in the database. But unable to persist the same in the database.

Can someone help in this regard?

      Thanks
