As access to all IO related classes is not allowed by JavaEE specification I suppose there is no way to do that.
But the JVM run under that OS user and you are allowed to write the filesystem.
But again you might run into issues with that

Unfortunately , the JVM can not be started with the user concerned, because there are several differents users concerned.
What about to change the permissions and add all such users to a group which has -rwx- permissions (I assume you use UNIX )
No, it is not possible because the users belong to separate groups and they should not be able to see data from the other groups.
