    Changing domain controller

    Mylos Kathos Master

      Hi all !

from the EAP 6 docs I can read that, in order to achieve HA of the domain controller "you can configure and promote any of the host controllers to act as domain controller".

How can you do that ? (Besides of course manually changing the XML files and restarting the host controller).

      Thanks a lot

You can start a HC with the "--backup" option to store the domain configuration local.

If the DC fail you can use "--cached-dc" to start the HC.

If you try to replace the failed DC with a backup you need to change the HC configuration to act as DC and restart it.
