1. Re: jboss 7.2 , backup logger occur on 12 noon in morning not 12 midnight
wdfink Jan 13, 2014 7:10 AM (in response to shailendra.soni)Could you attach the configuration?
Did you run both on the same machine? Maybe the machines time is wrong

3. Re: jboss 7.2 , backup logger occur on 12 noon in morning not 12 midnight
wdfink Jan 13, 2014 9:12 AM (in response to shailendra.soni)No idea at the moment as for me it works. Ok, I did not have servers often run around midnight but around noon
Did you see inside the server.log the timestamps correct? I mean that the switch is from 11:59:59 to 12:00:00. Maybe you can add the date to the log as well for a test.
Does the log switch happens two times a day?

jamezp Jan 13, 2014 10:13 AM (in response to shailendra.soni)You might want to try updating the logmanager module. I don't recall which version shipped with 7.2, but it looks like you may have hit this bug [LOGMGR-68] periodic-rotating-file-handler not rotating - JBoss Issue Tracker.

6. Re: jboss 7.2 , backup logger occur on 12 noon in morning not 12 midnight
jamezp Jan 15, 2014 3:29 AM (in response to shailendra.soni)log4j isn't actually used as the logmanager. You'd want to replace the jboss-logmanager JAR in the org/jboss/logmanager/main directory of the modules directory.
