Sorry for the late answer.
The "Fail" method is semantically the same as cancelling the task, I think. Why is "Fail" not usable?

I felt Fail would mean my task has failed while cancelling or aborting would mean different than failed task. So i was not sure about using it.
Exit looks useful for our scenario.
