My personal answer is you still need to download and install FUSE separately now.
The current releases of
- JBoss Fuse 6.1
- JBoss Fuse Service Works 6.0
Share only Apache Camel and CXF as the ESB/WS/REST technology. In the upcoming JBoss Fuse Service Works 6.1 its planned to certify ActiveMQ, and allow running JBoss Fuse Service Works on Karaf (OSGi). So when that happens both products will be able to share much more than currently.
So today its two different products and you need to download them separately, and you cannot run JBoss Fuse Service Works on JBoss Fuse.
Thanks for informative replies. Which JBDS version work with Fuse 6.1? Do we have to download JBDS separately? Does the Fuse 6.1 download package include Smooks as for Fuse Service Works 6.0?
One point to clarify - Fuse Service Works 6.0 *is* certified with A-MQ 6.1. Fuse Service Works includes a subscription to Fuse, customers should download A-MQ 6.1 separately, install and then configure FSW 6.0 to use A-MQ 6.1.
The Eclipse Tooling for Fuse 6.1 is part of https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/7.0/integration-stack/ and works with JBDS 7.1.
See https://www.jboss.org/products/fuse.html for instructions to install the Tooling.
Which JBDS version to download is a bit confusing........does JBDS 7.1.1 works with Fuse 6.1?
Also where can I download Smooks for Fuse 6.1?
