JBPM6 building failure with ant start.demo

    Eric Liu Newbie

      I'm using jdk1.7.0_45 and jbpm6.0.1final on win7.

I ran "ant install.demo"correctly , which means I did nothing but wait patiently until the installation finished.

I got all enviroment variables correct and I changed NOTHING in the file"D:\jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full".

but when i tried "ant start.demo",here's the problem:

      D:\jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full\jbpm-installer>ant start.demo

      Buildfile: D:\jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full\jbpm-installer\build.xml

      start.h2.check:

[echo] Checking if h2 db should be started ...

      start.h2:

      start.jboss:

      BUILD FAILED

      D:\jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full\jbpm-installer\build.xml:487: Execute failed:

It seems to be an issue with permissions on your D: hard disk : Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.lucene.store.LockObtainFailedException: Lock obtain timed out: NativeFSLock@D:\jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full\jbpm-installer\.index\write.lock

Try removing that .index directory to see if that fixes the problem. Also notice that you need to be connected to the internet (so check if you have a proxy in the middle or something that can be blocking the app to download the demo repositories).

              Hello

I am new here. trying to learn jbpm from scratch

I am also getting build failure during ant start.demo

Installing jbpm on different disc and changing folder permissions did not help

Please find the output below and help me understand where am i going wrong.
