You can use postgresql database.
If you are just learning JBoss EAP 6.2 comes with H2 built in. It is not advised to use that in production though.
I need to use HSQLDB and configure it to my JBOSS EAP 6..I went through the few documents , but couldn't get exact idea.
Could anyone provide any link which gives information to install it in linux machine and configure it to JBOSS EAP 6.
If you look to the provide standalone.xml the H2 DB is configured as ExampleDS.
As it is InMemory you can deployyoue application with "create table" set to true and it should work.
Only during restart you will lost all data as the DB is new started.
So it is not recommended to use it in production
Thanks Wolf Dieter Fink !!
I am new to jboss EAP6 and now want to connect H2DB with Jboss EAP6.
I will use H2 DB only as per your sugestion. But i have some queries reagrding this. They are:
1.Maven is not installed in my machine. So,i need to download and install from http://maven.apache.org/download.cgi
2.Then i guees i need to follow steps in http://www.jboss.org/jdf/quickstarts/jboss-as-quickstart/h2-console/#configure-maven by downloading H2 DB.
Request any one to confirm the above step are correct or not.
If any other document is there please share the link.
