I know there is a server admin/monitoring package called RHQ for JBoss. My question is suppose I do not use RHQ, does the JBoss 7.1.1 alone comes with a monitoring compenent?
This is what I try to do: Remotely monitor and checking the status of the server. For the add-on package such as RHQ, though comes free, but if a tech support service is required, it will be very expansive to get. So I try to do without the RHQ. But want to know how to live without it?
Here is my system setup:
A standalone server running JBoss AS 7.1.1. No server cluster is needed at this time. How to monitor the system without using the RHQ?
Thanks
Scott
Hi Scott
Great question?
How you want to monitor?
You have need of alert message?
You have need of automatic restart ?
You could use more tool example Nagios, VisualVm, you can create shell script, but each od these tools tools does his job
