Read-only ID ( monitoring id) for the web-console on JBoss 7.1.1

Hello All,

I would like to create a Read-only ID ( monitoring id) for the web-console on our JBoss 7.1.1 running on RHEL host.

Ive been searching but couldnt find anything.

I need an account that can login and see everything but not be able to make any changes to the web console located on

Any help is very much appreciated.

This is a feature of WildFly, you can configure it with the Administration Role Assignment.
If you need such feature, and for other reasons as well, I recommend to use the WildFly 8 from www.wildfly.org

cannot upgrade at this moment. we are in production with 7.1.1.
Any help on how to do this on 7.1.1 is monumentally appreciated

As I said this is a feature of WildFly and there is no way to do this in AS7.
If there is a possiblity to upgrade to EAP with a subscription you can use EAP 6.2+ which is based on AS7 but integrate this feature
