    Unable to preview data by connecting to Oracle Express edition 11G R2

      We have started using Jboss Teiid for the data virtualization needs for our customer.

      We are using

       

      Eclipse Kelper

      Teiid designer 8.3

      Jboss AS 7.1.1

      Teiid Runtime 8.3.0

      Oracle Database Express Edition 11g R2

      ojdbc6-11.2.0.2.0.jar

      jdk1.7

       

      We need to build a VDB wtih Oracle as one of the source. We are trying to figure out how to do that using Oracle express edition.

       

      Following datasource has been defined in datasource explorer.

      On testing the connection, it says "Ping Successfull" but when establishing connection to the data source it gives "java.lang.NullPointerException" error. This is the first issue.

       

      It is possible to import object definition available in this data source using import option but while trying to preview the data it is giving the error "TEIID30481 Failed to find the Connection Factory with JNDI name". This is the second issue.

       

      Not sure if both the issues are related in any way.

      Any help to resolve these issues will be largely appreciated.
