1. Re: Problem in Installing the FUSE - ESB
ccustine Jan 3, 2008 5:35 PM (in response to omswaha)Have you ever installed the products before? It seems like Windows thinks you already have something at that path. Could you make sure that you don't have something already in the chosen install directory, and also make sure that Windows doesn't have a previous installation still lingering in the your control panel/applications listing?
Aside from those suggestions, please post the exact error message that you get so that we can look into things further.

omswaha Jan 6, 2008 8:55 AM (in response to ccustine)Thanks for your reply.
I've not installed any FUSE product before. This is the exact message I'm getting, "Please select another location to extract the installer to:". Then I'm prompted for choosing a separate location, which doesn't help ( in the sense, that no location is suitable) and another button to cancel the operation.
Please help.
Thanking you,

janstey Jan 23, 2008 10:38 AM (in response to omswaha)Here are some suggestions:
Ensure that you have sufficient disk space on C: drive
You may have downloaded a corrupt installer file due to transmission problems. To rule out this, create a MD5 sum from the installer files and compare them against the MD5 sums in the maven repo. For example, if you downloaded http://repo.open.iona.com/maven2/com/iona/fuse/fuse-message-broker/5.0.0.6/fuse-message-broker-5.0.0.6-windows.exe , the correct MD5 sum is in http://repo.open.iona.com/maven2/com/iona/fuse/fuse-message-broker/5.0.0.6/fuse-message-broker-5.0.0.6-windows.exe.md5
Let me know if this helps or not.
