Also, I noticed that the Apache Servicemix SNAPSHOT repository at http://people.apache.org/maven-snapshot-repository/org/apache/servicemix now contains a tooling/catalog directory with an archetype-catalog.xml file in it. The IONA FUSE ESB repository at http://repo.open.iona.com/maven2/org/apache/servicemix contains no tooling/catalog directory. Is this an oversight or is FUSE ESB missing some SMX 3.2.x commits that would add this functionality?
The reason this is not available in the IONA Maven repository is answered by the URL you posted in your first message:
Notice that the URL above is a SNAPSHOT, i.e., it has not yet been released at the ASF. The FUSE ESB does pull in some items from SNAPSHOTs (e.g., bug fixes) but generally it does not include new features that have not yet been released at the ASF. The archetype catalog features in Apache ServiceMix are rather new and some kinks are still being worked out. These features will be included in the FUSE ESB sometime after Apache ServiceMix 3.2.2 is released.
Thanks for the clarification. I'll look forward to the archetype catalog integration in a future FUSE ESB release.
