    features error in ESB 4.2.0

    Richard T Newbie

      I am trying to run ESB 4.2.0-fuse-01-00. I just downloaded to my linux box

      in: $HOME/progress/

      I did an unzip/untar:

      tar -zxvf apache-servicemix-4.2.0-fuse-01-00.tar.gz

      which created the following directory:

      $HOME/progress/apache-servicemix-4.2.0-fuse-01-00

      when I do a list features core has a "Failure" Status and I get the following in the log:

      karaf@root> log:display-exception

      org.osgi.service.blueprint.container.ComponentDefinitionException: Unable to intialize bean featuresService

          This is an XML parser version issue due to:

          Caused by: java.lang.AbstractMethodError: org.apache.crimson.tree.ElementNode.getTextContent()Ljava/lang/String;

          Basically your runtime is picking up an older xml parser somewhere.

          Could you provide your OS version and Java -version output?
