FATAL ServiceMix Crash on starting bundle.

    Peter Chandler Master

      My bundle:

      1. Uses Spring DM to start.

      2. Run some java code.

      3. Loads a Spring applicationContext.

      4. About 5 minutes pass ... FATAL, ServiceMix Crash

Can I load a Spring applicationContext from a Spring DM Bundle?

What is wrong with my Spring applicationContext file (below)?

ServiceMix "OSGi Container" should never crash no matter what is in a application bundle. How can application bundle crash ServiceMix?

      Thanks in advance,

      Peter.

Spring context file, I am trying to load.

Always remember to write down which versions, OS and JDK versions of the software you are using. Especially in such a situation as you write about with a crash.

Maybe its a pasting in this forum but the XML is not valid. The bean tag is invalid as the id attribute is missing a end quote.

Didn't want to list all my beans so I put that in there as a place holder.

You are using Spring beans 2.0 xsd. Maybe using 2.5 xsd works? Or try without a version number.

An is the computer connected to the internet? So it can load the XSD files remotely in case it cant find a mapping locally?

                      Gert Vanthienen Novice

                      L.S.,

I just tried deploying an XML file with this set of headers in FUSE ESB 4.2.0 by copying it in the deploy folder and that seems to work fine.  From your description, I assume the XML file is being deployed inside an OSGi bundle.  Is it being put in the default META-INF/spring location or are you using an additional Spring-Context MANIFEST.MF entry?  ServiceMix has support for Spring DM built-in, so you should not have to do anything additional yourself to get the context loaded.

Also, what happens when 'ServiceMix crashes' -- that should never happen when deploying an application on the container?

                      Regards,

                        Peter Chandler Master

                        My bundle:

                        1. Uses Spring DM to start bundle (using META-INF/spring context file)

                        2. Run some java code.

                        3. Load a new Spring applicationContext file from within the current Spring DM context i.e., nested context. (unsupported ?)

                        4. About 5 minutes pass ... FATAL, ServiceMix Crash

                        5. I return the the linux shell (command-line)
