    starting karaf-client.jar problem in 4.3.0-fuse-02-00

    rafal janik Newbie

The problem is the same as in http://fusesource.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=7113 :

      Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.sshd.common.RuntimeSshException

              at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:217)

              at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)

              at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:205)

              at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:321)

              at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:294)

              at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:266)

Could not find the main class: org.apache.karaf.client.Main. Program will exit.

In karaf-client pom there is no <class-path> tag with sshd-core-${sshd.version}.jar .

      It was removed here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-169?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Aall-tabpanel

How should I start the karaf-client now? Or there is the other way to start console as a client?

      regards

          Hi,

Now we have a client script in SMX_HOME/bin folder

          run

          ./client -u smx -p smx

then you can start a karaf client

Doing that on OSX, appears to work..doing that, on Windows...using 4.3-02 causes angry FUSE:

            C:\Program Files\apache-servicemix\bin>client.bat -u smx -p smx list

              Hi,

How you start smx on windows? Do you use service wrapper for smx on window?

I guess you may hit problem discussed here[1]
