Active MQ 5.5 released

ActiveMQ 5.5 has been released

- Which version of Fuse Message Broker corresponds to this 5.5. release?

The latest one - FUSE Message Broker - Version 5.4.2-fuse-02-00 - Mar 11, 2011 seems to mention its based on 5.4.2.x based.

The fuse products uses the same version as Apache. So 5.4.2-fuse-xx-xx is based on Apache version 5.4.2.

Fuse Message Broker 5.5.0 has not been released yet. But its of course planned to be so in due time.

If there was information on tentatives when Fuse ActiveMQ 5.5. would be available that would have been very helpful .. As its hard to explain why we are still using 5.4.2 while there is 5.5. available from Apache ActiveMQ folks

I have been told Fuse MQ 5.5.0 is to be cut today. So a release is on the way.

Hi,
it is the same Apache folks who do the fuse release :-). For the fuse release we are focused on additional hardening and validation of the integration with fuse ESB 4.4. Also we want to include some additional customer fixes and resolve any important issues that emerge from the 5.5 release at Apache. Hence the lag.
The current release date is May 3, full details of the issues that are addressed in that release are at http://fusesource.com/issues/browse/MB/fixforversion/11211

The release will be available on the website later, as we have a number of releases all going out at the same time.
