Encoding Problem when calling webservice

Hello togehter,

I am calling a webservice using plain HTTP.

....

and the log output shows wrong characters for german umlaute e.g ü,ö.....

The same input provided to soapUI returns the correct result.

Which setting is missing in my camel route ?

I got the same result after adding the mentioned configuration

M³nchen instead of München
K÷ln instead of Köln

How you input for the webservice? I mean I can't see the message input part from your camel router.

Can you try to set the charset according to the HTML standard

The input comes from a jms topic and a poll enrich component.
A log before the setHeader shows

which is exactly the sample request generated by soapUI and which is successful when it is executed via soapUI.

Aaargh...... it is only a known problem with the windows console
Add -Dfile.encoding=cp850 to the java opts for servicemix startscript
will fix the console output.
Or just ignore the windows bulls**t !
When the result is written to a file with

it shows the expected result.
