How to turn on Debug (Trace) on camel-mina

Hi,

Please how to I configure camel-mina such that I can see debug information on the component.

It disconnects connected client at random and I will like to troubleshoot to understand why.

You can enable logging levels for
org.apache.camel.component.mina
org.apache.mina

and set them to DEBUG or TRACE level to get more logging.

Hi,

I did this in my log4j.properties which I put under my maven project's resource folder:

log4j.logger.org.apache.camel.component.mina=DEBUG, FILE

#define the appender named FILE
log4j.appender.FILE=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.FILE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.FILE.layout.conversionPattern=%d{dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS} %-5p %c %x - %m%n
log4j.appender.FILE.File=${karaf.data}/log/mina.log
log4j.appender.FILE.DatePattern='.'yyyy-MM

This did not enable the logs as I couldnt find any mina.log file on the log folder

Hi,

Ensure you're editing
etc/org.ops4j.pax.logging.cfg
but not
log4j.properties
Add something like
log4j.category.org.apache.camel.component.mina=DEBUG
