The version of JBoss AS I am using is :
JBoss 5.1.0 and JBoss-4.2.3
First try things getting run in JBoss4.x to do so you should read this
And for Jboss5 you should read this one
there is a config parameter to tell JBoss not to use the bundled JSF implementation:
I used this with JBoss 4.2 and a newer JSF 1.2 version, but hopefully it also works with 5.x and older versions ;-).
Thanx Wolfgang Knauf . This solved the issue.
The solution you posted seems not working for JBoss 4.3.0 EAP. I am new to JBoss. Is JBoss 4.3.0 a product of RedHat & JBoss as I do not see that build in the JBoss download link . If not how do I get to download JBoss 4.3.0 .
JBoss EAP 4.3 is the for-subscription package. You can only download it from the Red Hat support site, and you need a support contract to access that site. EAP 4.3 is essentially JBoss AS 4.2.1 + Seam + JBoss Messaging + many bug fixes.
