FAB packaging and parent POM's

My understanding is that the FAB package type can not be used with parent POM's.

I would like to be able to both manage builds though parent and aggregator POM's and be able to easily deploy bundles into FUSE ESB.

The ability for the FAB deployment to manage transitive dependencies could make the provisioning much simply and efficient.

What options do I have for deployment when using parent POM's?

I am not sure, but maybe we added support for that in the upcoming JBoss Fuse 6 release.

Gert or Ioannis would most likely know if we did that.
