Error when im trying to deploy a jar as bundle

Hello, I'm a little confuse about how to use jars that are not bundles in Fuse.

Im trying to deploy axis 1.2.1 jar inside deploy folder. In many cases the jars were deployed as bundles inside karaf, but with axis and jax-rpc and many others I cant.

The error was

Unable to install Kar feature axis/1.2.1

org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Jar is not a bundle, no Bundle-SymbolicName mvn:axis/axis/1.2.1

Why Karaf allows some jars as not to other jars?

Hi,

Because they are not OSGi bundles(have no OSGi metadata header) yet, you need OSGi-fy those jar first.
