2. Re: Authenticating via LdapExtLoginModule against Active Directory Forest (LDAP_REFERRAL)
lazarius Sep 10, 2014 6:52 AM (in response to lazarius)no I did not, I work with an alternate solution (LDAP) yet. it looks like one has to either extend the LdapExtLoginModule, or to find an alternative module in any other way. one can also setup a reader node in the forest to make sure it answers without referrals

3. Re: Authenticating via LdapExtLoginModule against Active Directory Forest (LDAP_REFERRAL)
lazarius Sep 11, 2014 3:57 AM (in response to lazarius)I posted the same question to stackoverflow and received the following answer:
There were some issues with the referrals handling in the WildFly. They are already fixed in the codebase. Once the new version release in 9.x stream is released, it should work for you.
The JBoss EAP 6.3 and 6.2.4 have the issues fixed already.
here the link to the bug report:
Bug 1066470 – (6.3.0) LdapExtended login module: LDAP referrals not working despite earlier fix
