    Fuse Service Works VS Mule

    moustafa123

Hi there, any advises on which is better JBoss Fuse or Mule. I did some research and found the below, any ideas are welcomed:

      Price:

Both are open source; however, Mule is more expensive when requesting for the enterprise additions.

      Community VS. Enterprise Editions:

The community edition for Mule is greatly limited (monitoring, high availability, enterprise connectors are unavailable in the community edition) when compared with the Enterprise edition; however, for JBoss Fuse, it is still not clear what are the differences between Enterprise and Community versions

      Single VS Multiple Platforms:

In order to have a complete middleware, we need to deploy multiple JBoss modules; however, mule is only enough to have a workable middleware

      Spread of use:

Mule is number one when looking at the number of developers supporting it and willing to help in a large community

      Data format:

JBoss Fuse communication is based on XML and all data received should be transformed to XML before processing; on the contrary, Mule support all known formats without the necessity of conversion to XML
