Unable to install Teiid designer properly. Only one component of it is getting installed rest all the components are not getting installed

I tried to install the JBoss Developer studio and JBoss Data Virtualization by following the video tutorial.

But I faced an issue where I am unable to install the teiid designer properly.

Only teiid datatools connectivity is getting downloaded rest of them are not getting downloaded.

I don't know what the problem is.

Please help me if anybody has faced similar problem.

what version of developer studio are you using and how did you install it ?

Boss Developer Studio

Version: 8.0.0.GA

I installed it from terminal on my ubuntu workstation

Mayur,

I don't believe there is a video for installing into JBDS 8. Try this:

1) Install a clean JBDS 8.0 GA
2) Install https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/8.0-development/integration-stack/ (Designer 8.6.1.Alpha2 luna)
3) Install http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/luna/integration-stack/teiiddesigner/9.0.0.alpha1/

The download of Developer Studio is here: https://www.jboss.org/products/devstudio/overview/

When you click the download button there is also instructions on how to install Integration Stack by enabling earlyaccess which will give the ability to install the tested and verified to work version of Teiid Designer.

Basically, install Developer Studio 8, In JBoss Central click Software/Update tab and enable Early access. From here Teiid should now show up as being installable.

It is not recommended nor supported to manually mix jboss.org and devstudio p2 updatesites as Ted suggested above, only do that if you understand the implications of mixing updatesites. Thanks!

It says:

Does that server dir actually exist and do the user you are running with have permisson to that directory ?
