JBoss AS 5.1 - How to get datasource connection pool statistics

Hi,

I am using JBoss AS5.1 and I need to get number of active connections, max size, min size....etc from the connection pool. I tried above url but it didn't work.

http://localhost:9990/management/subsystem/datasources/data-source/ExampleDS/statistics/pool?include-runtime=true

Could you please help me in this area.

The URL is for AS7 and WildFly which has a separate (and different) management approach.

For JBoss 5.1 you need to use JMX or you might access the jmx-console via IP:8080. Here you need to choose the correct connection-pool and you will see the statistic.
Another and more convenient UI is the admin-console which can be used from this URL as well.

Finally I did this requirement in applicatio level with JMX
