This should work as you are doing. See here: switchyard/Dockerfile at master · jboss-dockerfiles/switchyard · GitHub
If you want to try it, you can either, use the prebuilt jboss docker image, or you can layer SwitchYard on top of wildfly as shown in the above Dockerfile.
What OS are u using? What switchyard binary are u using? Can you describe more what you are doing?
I'll give it a try to Dockerfile ..
Im trying to install SY on Linux mint 16 - 3.11.0-12 kernel (it's a VM on MacOX host)
Java -version = "1.7.0_55"
Ant version = 1.9.2
Here's what i did (I switched to super user):
1. unzipped wildfly-8.1.0.Final.zip in /usr/local/
2. ran ./add_user.sh
3. http://127.0.0.1:8080 appears ok
4. http://127.0.0.1:9990 shows the Admin page correctly
Then i tried both:
5a. unzipped switchyard-2.0.0.Beta1-WildFly.zip into /usr/local/wildfly-8.1.0.Final/
6a. http://127.0.0.1:8080 appears ok
7a. http://127.0.0.1:9990 the admin page is blank
OR (starting from scratch)
5b. unzipped switchyard-installer-wildfly-2.0.0.Beta1.zip into /home/my_user/temp/
6b. from /home/user/temp/switchyard-installer-2.0/ i ran ant
7b. provided the WildFly path /usr/local/wildfly-8.1.0.Final/
no other questions appears. Here i have some Warnings. For example:
[xslt] Warning: org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserImpl$JAXPSAXParser: Property 'http://javax.xml.XMLConstants/property/accessExternalDTD' is not recognized.
8b. http://127.0.0.1:8080 appears ok
9b. http://127.0.0.1:9990 the admin page is blank
Below the console page. Note the 404 - Not found error.
Thanks for the help
I just went through the same steps, and everything is working fine, and I can access the console.
Thank you very much for your time, Jorge.
I installed a new Ubuntu server and reinstalled everything, with no success (same errors)
After having better read the SY prerequisites I've seen Maven3 was missing in my system.
I'm not sure if this was the cause, but the fact is the console is working again!
