2. Re: Embedded Mode and HotRod
sewell_ff Mar 27, 2015 1:16 PM (in response to nadirx)Hi Tristan,
That helped, but still having some issues.
To do something like this:
Cache<String, String> localCache = defaultCacheManager.getCache();
System.out.print("\nVerifying data via LocalCache...");
for (char ch = 'A'; ch <= 'Z'; ch++) {
String s = Character.toString(ch);
assert s.equals(localCache.get(s));
System.out.printf("%s...", s);
}
I added:
embeddedBuilder.compatibility().enable(); It seems to be working for what I need. And it is great if I'm programmatically creating my cache.
However, when trying to create it via XML configs, I don't have access to the compabitilty enabled attribute in 7.1
It is referenced in the 7.1 documents guide: Infinispan Server Guide It looks like it was dropped between version 6.0 and 7.0 of the config xsd when the marshaller was added
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

nadirx Mar 30, 2015 4:38 AM (in response to sewell_ff)I have updated the demo at tristantarrant/infinispan-playground-embedded-hotrod · GitHub to include compatibility mode and a declarative configuration. Compatibility is now simply enabled by including the element. The redundant attribute has been removed and I've issued a PR Remove references to the "enabled" attribute from the compatibility examples by tristantarrant · Pull Request #3348 · in… to fix the documentation
