can you try with proper distribution in dist/target?
what you get is jboss-modules failing to resolve maven dependencies. Does machine have access to internet to download deps?
you can also start server with -Dremote.maven.repo=<url-to-your-internal-repo>
if server has only access to some internal repo. you can enable trace logging for "org.jboss.modules" and it will log what it is trying to load
In any case, for production use it is better to take proper inflated(with all jars present) distro.

It should still work, as long as the machine where you are running it has access to maven repos to download all deps.
