Forge 2.16.1.Final fails to start in windows 7 command mode

    Gerry Matte Apprentice

Today I downloaded the ZIP version of Forge 2.16.1.Final

I extracted the ZIP file into folder c:\s\jboss-forge-2.16.1.Final and updated my windows environment variable FORGE_HOME to be that folder

My PATH environment variable automatically uses FORGE_HOME\bin

when I opened a command window and executed forge.bat I saw the normal opening text from forge then on a new line I saw the spinning / and \ characters

After two minutes, I realised that forge was not going to start up so I forced a cancellation of forge.bat using Ctrl+C

Has anyone else managed to successfully run this version in a DOS window ?

      My commands are below:
