    Migrate Application from JBoss 5.1.0.GA to JBoss 7/8

      Hello All,

       

      We have a Enterprise Application that we wish to migrate.

      Currently the application is running on JBOSS 5.1.0 GA. The Stack of technologies that are used are mostly from JBOSS:


      Jboss Seam 2.2.0

      Rich Faces 3.3.3 with JSF 2.0

      Hibernate 4.2.0 with JPA 2.0

      EJB 3.0

      JBPM 3.3.1

      RestEasy 2.0.1


      I feel that I need to take care of these while migrating the Server. So wanted to know  if we "dont want to migrate technology" and just want to migrate

      Server from JBoss 5 to JBoss 7/8 will it work or will we have to migrate technology too!


      If yes what will that be, Migrating to JBoss itself would be preferable.



      Other than that it is we are using 

      Flex 4.1.0

      Java 1.6.0_35

      Ant 1.8 for build

       

      DB - Oracle - 11.2.0.2.0

       

      Any inputs appreciated.
