I see that for other servers that auto-commit will do this. However, I can't find anywhere if this is the case within JBoss as well.

The application I'm working on is having issues with transactions taking too long and timing out. Thus, I'm curious when the commit is actually happening.

Disabling auto-commit is not an option for this application at this time since it would require too many changes. We're running on JBoss 5.0.
