Wildfly Managed Domain running in Hot-Warm mode

I am looking at running an apache camel based application (.war) in domain mode on two nodes belonging to the same server group and want to designate one as primary and other as secondary.

What i am trying to achieve is a basic failover protocol where secondary starts its routes once the primary goes down. with the wildfly samples and configuration examples all i see is a load balancing mode failover where the nodes are Hot-Hot and the loss of a node is accommodated by other remaining running nodes.

Is this even possible in manged mode or should i go ahead and listen to events and manage the instances manually in my app. I clearly want to avoid this as i have multiple applications to be run in prod servers and dont want intrusive changes in all of them.
