setting up JBoss that I installed as RMP package

Hi,

I installed JBoss on fedora 21 using the command :

---------------------------

"sudo yum -y install jboss-as"

--------------------------

But, after this operation, I still cannot use it in the NetBeans IDE: (when I try to add the JBoss server on NetBeans IDE I cannot find the "sever location".)

I think that the process of installation of JBoss (to allow NetBeans using it as server..) it need to do another operations..

I think this after looking on Internet: (Installing and setting-up JBoss on Centos - https://www.rosehosting.com/blog/installing-and-setting-up-java-jboss-7-final-on-a-centos-6-linux-vps/) - In thist explanation it is wrote to use a zip file that I didn't got from the installation of RPM package,

Can I have some explanation about this my problem ?

Hello,

Have you installed the JBoss Tools in yoru NetBeans? If not then please see : http://www.developinjava.com/page/using-jboss-as-7-with-netbeans/
NOTE: In case of yum the JBoss Tools may detect detect the installation when the scanner is pointed at /usr/share/jboss-as and properly sets up a server runtime. See : https://developer.jboss.org/thread/200451?tstart=0
