      I have an application deployed to a standalone Tomcat 7.0.62 server the application is built with weld-core and weld-servlet. I'm unable to change the logging level from DEBUG. I have the following on application class path, how should can control DEBUG logging level:

      logging.properties:

      handlers = java.util.logging.FileHandler, java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler

      .handlers = java.util.logging.FileHandler, java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler

      .level=INFO

      blinkadapter.level=FINER

      pipeline.level=FINER

      org.apache.commons.beanutils.level=TRACE

      org.jboss.weld.Bootstrap.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Version.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Utilities.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Bean.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Servlet.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Reflection.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.JSF.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Event.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Conversation.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.Context.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.El.level = FINEST

      org.jboss.weld.ClassLoading.level = FINEST

      java.util.logging.FileHandler.level=ALL

      java.util.logging.FileHandler.limit=2000000

      java.util.logging.FileHandler.count=15

      java.util.logging.FileHandler.pattern=logs/tomcat.%g.log

      java.util.logging.FileHandler.formatter=java.util.logging.SimpleFormatter

      java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler.level=ALL

      java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler.formatter=java.util.logging.SimpleFormatter

      And log4j.properties:

      log4j.rootLogger=debug, stdout, R

      log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender

      log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

      # Pattern to output the caller's file name and line number.

      log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%5p [%t] (%F:%L) - %m%n

      log4j.appender.R=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender

      log4j.appender.R.File=logs/pipeline.log

      log4j.appender.R.MaxFileSize=100KB

      # Keep one backup file

      log4j.appender.R.MaxBackupIndex=1

      log4j.appender.R.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout

      log4j.appender.R.layout.ConversionPattern=%p %t %c - %m%n
