    CLI Scripting with Groovy

    Carlton Zachary Newbie

      Hello,

      I am running the instructions above for groovy at the following link Advanced CLI scripting with Groovy, Rhino, Jython, etc. and getting the following error:

      Caught: groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: org.jboss.as.cli.scriptsupport.CLI.connect() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.String, java.lang.Integer, java.lang.String, java.lang.String) values: [myhost, 9030, admin, adminpass]

      Possible solutions: connect(), connect(java.lang.String, int, java.lang.String, [C), collect(), connect(java.lang.String, [C), disconnect(), inspect()

      I am passing the jboss-cli-client.jar into the class path as:

      groovy -cp /path/to/jboss/bin/client/jboss-cli-client.jar ServerUptime.groovy

      my connection is: cli.connect("myhost",9030,"admin","adminpass")

      My JBoss version: EAP 6.4.4

      My groovy version is 2.4.5

      My java version is 1.7.0_85

      My OS: RHEL 6

      Has anyone else encountered this?  If so, is there a solution?

      Thanks
