Hi All,

I have a simple web application which has a form based authentication and uses j_security_check for authentication validation.

My requirement is to when I submit form i need to check if the user name is in my local database . If yes proceed with the j_security_check otherwise throw some error.

I read little about pre j_security_check but not so clear with the explanations.

Can anyone here suggest me some link or can share some information here itself.
