I am upgrading from JBoss 7 to WildFly 9.0, which has been very smooth.
However, the Undertow 2.0 subsystem access logs rotate at noon every day rather than midnight.
The WildFly server.log rotates at the correct time. RHEL 6.0 server, TZ set to PDT.
Config file excerpt:
<subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:undertow:2.0" instance-id="${jboss.node.name}" statistics-enabled="true">
<buffer-cache name="default"/>
<server name="default-server">
<http-listener name="default" socket-binding="http" redirect-socket="https" record-request-start-time="true"/>
<host name="default-host" alias="localhost">
<location name="/" handler="welcome-content"/>
<access-log pattern="%{i,X-Forwarded-For} %h %{i,SM_UNIVERSALID} %t %H %p %U %q %s %D %T" prefix="access" worker="default" rotate="true"/>
<filter-ref name="server-header"/>
<filter-ref name="x-powered-by-header"/>
</host>
</server>
<servlet-container name="default">
<jsp-config/>
<websockets/>
</servlet-container>
<handlers>
<file name="welcome-content" path="${jboss.home.dir}/welcome-content"/>
</handlers>
<filters>
<response-header name="server-header" header-name="Server" header-value="WildFly/9"/>
<response-header name="x-powered-by-header" header-name="X-Powered-By" header-value="Undertow/1"/>
</filters>
</subsystem>
Just make sure to start the server in the morning . In all seriousness it's a bug https://issues.jboss.org/browse/UNDERTOW-678.
