How to do a loadbalanced standalone JBoss EAP/AS7 cluster using IIS as frontend

    Lem Nicolas Newbie

      Hi jboss.org,

As I was looking at RedHat's JBoss EAP installation/clustering guide, I learned that using IIS with JBoss as the frontend is possible. However, what the document only provides is how to setup Windows Server 2012 R2 to use ISAPI. It doesn't mention exactly what to do or how to configure the two JBoss EAP/AS nodes for them to form a cluster. Looking at sources such as jboss.org, I haven't seen a guide on how to do standalone clustering using IIS, most of the guides are for mod_cluster and mod_jk.

Can anybody help me how to properly setup my jboss instances to have http session replication/loadbalancing using IIS as frontend?

      Here is my setup:

      1st VM

      MS Server 2012 R2 Std

      JBoss EAP 6.4/AS7

      Oracle JDK 1.8

      IIS 8.5

      isapi_redirect.dll

      2nd VM

      MS Server 2012 R2 Std

      JBoss EAP 6.4/AS7

      Oracle JDK 1.8

      IIS 8.5

      isapi_redirect.dll

      Thanks in advance!

      Regards,
